Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists

I have been a patient at VA Cardio for many years. The doctors are knowledgeable and very capable. The staff is efficient and friendly. All of my interactions with this group have been exceptional. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of this specialty.

Not having been to this office before, I found it very difficult to find. The side streets off Boulders Parkway are not well marked. Our wait time was a bit long but not unusual. I would have completed the patient data form online but it wasn't sent to me in advance so had to complete in office. Was seen by nurse Hanna who was very professional. She explained a good deal about my heart condition which was helpful. All things considered, I would give them a 4.5 out of 5.0. Tom

Would have given a zero if it was possible. This place since my first contact has just give me headaches. 1) The receptionist made an appointment for me with someone else's name, and told me that it was just a typo mistake that she changed on the system.2) The day comes, I go early and of course, I do not have an appointment. They told me someone forgot to put it in the system so had to schedule for the next day, since I had a surgery and couldn't wait another 2 weeks. 3) I went back and did my exam, later I receive a bill, $225.00 FOR A NEW PATIENT FEE. One of those fees that is bogus and they charge to make extra money and no insurance will ever pay for. Also they never disclosed anything about a new patient fee, If I knew it, I would have gone to a different place. Called the office and asked to have it explained and the lady was EXTREMELY rude. Asked to speak to the office manager on three different occasions. Eventually after 1.5 months of waiting she calls and was more rude than the other person. Very unprofessional. Stay away from this place because they do not care for their patients.
