        Must visit. The museum is not overwhelming but extremely well staged and very effective. Staff very accommodating and friendly. A real gem in tiny Accomack

        It is quite a big place. No cost just donations. The lady on staff gave me a private tour, not sure if that is typical, or if it was because I was only person. I did get a little lost in all the history and how it related, but overall it was a nice way to learn about an area I knew nothing about; like what the town's name means and how it got the name.
