We stayed for a week, on our first real vacation since the pandemic began. We were very comfortable and felt at home right away. Thom is so gracious and welcoming, and makes excellent breakfasts! We loved meeting the pup, Aida as well. The week was a good balance between relaxing on the porch and getting out to some beaches and nature trails. The Spinning Wheel is in a convenient location, walking distance to restaurants and the wharf in town, and well situated for exploring other parts of the Eastern Shore. We are already planning to return next spring.

Wonderful long weekend getaway. Great little inn with a friendly interesting host and perfect location to enjoy all the Eastern Shore has to offer. It would be a pleasure to stay again.

Amazing, homey stay! Thom was the best host. He made sure we were comfortable the whole weekend and whipped up delicious breakfasts both mornings. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and hanging out with the inns pup. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Stay here!!

The Inn was within a minutes's walking distance to town center so we were close to the festivities but just far enough way to enjoy some quiet downtime at the Inn. As with many travel situations, our stay and experience were sensational due to the extremely welcoming atmosphere facilitated by the Innkeeper Thom with an "H". He was a joy to meet and to listen to regarding some of the rich history of Onancock and the Spinning Wheel itself. We will return to Onancock later this year and when we do we will most surely be staying at the Spinning Wheel.

I love this place. It's full of character. Walking distance to restaurants and taverns. I can't wait to visit again soon
