Rite Aid - Closed

I became a pharmacy customer today after a competitor repeatedly failed me. Rite aid had my medicine and although they were obviously incredibly busy they were very courteous and helpful. As a self payer I was also surprised that the cost was half of what I had been paying at the competitor. I now feel totally ripped off by WG. As long as Rite aid continues to have my meds I will be a loyal customer. I don't understand the bad reviews I saw because that was not my experience at all. I'm a retired business owner and I greatly value good service and a friendly staff. Thank you for a job well done today.

Just pretty annoyed.. if your pharmacy opens at 10 and the pharmacists are there...the drive through should at least look open. I'm not asking to be helped immediately but at least for someone to see I was waiting for like 10 minutes in the drive thru. I sat in the drive thru having arrived 5 min after they opened and waited for about 10 minutes both calling the store phone and ringing the button once to let someone know I was in the drive thru since they hadn't opened the barrier to it yet to see that a customer was waiting. But no one answered the phone, it took me back to the directory after sounding like someone picked up then hung up. After waiting too long outside I went inside and the pharmacist didn't seem to care I had been waiting so long and being ignored. Also the other pharmacist I noticed answered a phone call stayed silent for a few seconds then hung up. Is that what happened when I called the store while sitting in the drive thru to check if they were open?? I've been going here for years and never had an issue with the staff until today.

Worst pharmacy in Newport News! Fills half the prescription at a time because they can't seem to order the correct amount! Once my refills run out , I will NOT be coming back to Rite Aid for a thing!

How, as a pharmacist, are you going to deny a patient's medication based on "web research" and not verify by calling the doctor that prescribed it? This is totally unacceptable and I'm not using this location or any Rite Aid ever again.

Phone just ring and rings.....Noone ever answers......Rxs are never ready on time......
