Was greeted as soon as we walked in. Started to order and was informed that they were out of rice&peas, only had white rice. 1st plate: Ordered oxtails w/white rice, cabbage & mac/cheese. 2nd plate: jerk chicken w/white rice, side salad & mac/cheese. Food came up about 10mins later. You get a good amount of rice & whatever meat you requested. My issue is I ordered jerk chicken but was given curry chicken !! It wasnt until a customer who came in after us, did we find out they were out of jerk chicken!!! Smh. Wasnt given an option to choose something else. The mac/cheese was horrible tasted old, oxtails & curry chicken was okay. The plain white rice was really good.

I drove nearly half an hour to eat here based on the glowing reviews. It was a wasted drive and money. Ordered the jerk bbq chicken, fried plantains and, rice and peas. The chicken was overly seasoned to the point where it was overly salty and impossible to consume. The fried plantains were not done the way that I am accustomed to and so I could not finish them. The rice and peas contained very little peas and was not cooked to what I am accustomed to either. I do not know where those glowing reviews came from, but they should explore more Jamaican restaurants and they will see that Mystic is not all that at all.

Best Jamaican food on this side and curry is the best! Jerk wings great and their Mac and cheese is the best Jamaican Mac n cheese I have had . I love Jamaican and have tried a lot of places so take my word. Lunch specials are great prices and portions

The portion sizes and customer service were great but the food quality has decreased. The rice was undercooked and the the jerk chicken was lacking sauce. My favorite part of the meal was the beef patty Might have been an off day. Willing to try them again the next time I visit the area
