History should be preserved, even when it doesn't mesh with modern sensibilities. No one is celebrating the Confederate cause, but that doesn't mean one can't respect those who fought on both sides. This park preserves a unique event and does so fairly. Glad I went before it is uprooted by the modern Taliban of political correctness.
