I have been going to creative hair now for at least 6 years. I always see Amber and she is the BEST! Always knows exactly what I want and never disappoints! I would recommend Amber to everyone I know!

If you need a good barber, Mr. Nick is as good as they come. At 80 years old he is just as sharp as the scissors he uses. When I try to find a barber I try to find someone with experience who takes pride in their work. Nick has over 40 years of experience and clearly takes pride in his work. They don't make them like him anymore. I highly recommend him for your haircut or beard trim.

Buyer Beware of Price Change/Lack of Transparency This review is based on our recent experience. If you see a regular stylist there, I doubt this is an issue. However, they should treat all clients with truth and respect. I have taken my daughter(10)here several times over the last couple of years and have never had an issue. Regardless of who we saw, Ive always been charged between $15-$20, maybe an opted shampoo for $25 tops! We have seen a few different stylists, most noticeably Amber, who has great reviews which she deserves! Amber was not available(nor the other 2 stylists she has seen) so they easily set me up with another stylist for both of my girls(5 and10).Great! In advance,I asked what the price difference is if we shampoo or not, and was told a shampoo is $10.Fine.I scheduled them both for a dry haircut to save the $20 for shampoo and we had a good experience with our new stylist. However, when I went to pay, the total she charged was $70! I was shocked! I asked if it was correct she was charging $35 per child for a dry cut and she said yes. Speechless, I paid the $70 and of course felt obligated to tip which was closer to 10% than 20% because of the high unexpected cost. It didnt sit right with me for hours to come. I could not believe that I had just spent nearly $80 for 2 young kids to get a dry cut and the time spent was an hour or less total. I really felt taken advantage of! Later that same day,I had a friend call to ask what they charge for a childs dry cut and she was told $20. So, I called them back to discuss this and my experience earlier that day. The receptionist was kind and listened, but continued to repeat that Amber charges $20, to which I responded that the caller did not ask for Ambers price nor was offered her name as the stylist she would need to see to be charged $20. She respectfully stated that the owner would need to call me to answer my questions. I left my name and number and as of now (1 week later), the owner has not bothered to call me to at least respectfully problem solve or use professional etiquette to address a customer complaint, which any professional business should do. I could not have reasonably expected a childs dry cut to be $35, especially when weve seen multiple people there. They have no costs posted and there is no delineation of caliber of stylists posted, or when calling to make an appointment is explained to the customer. Ive never felt the need to leave a negative complaint for a business, but I feel it is 100% warranted in this particular case and based on reading other reviews, it seems transparency is an ongoing issue for pricing with this business. We will not be back and I hope in the future this business will be open and honest with their customers.
