I'd give the store manager 4 stars but not the guys I dealt with. The lady store manager (I think she was the manager) hustled and helped me by diagnosing my car battery and finding the replacement battery. She didn't fumble around and did this while juggling multiple customers. 4 star in effort and attitude. Then the fun starts The employee at the front desk didn't really know how to change car batteries. So you work at Batteries Plus but you can't change a battery? I understand everyone has to learn and he did reach out to another employee for help. That's fine. Second employee talked like he's done this once or twice so I let him take over. There was a lot of fumbling and I helped out a bit to move things along but I can tell this was not going too well. "We" finally managed to remove the old battery and get the new battery in place. Final step was to connect 2 rods so you can install the bracket to hold down the battery. He immediately had a lot of trouble getting the rods in and tried to convince me that they weren't necessary the rods didn't do anything! Wrong. He finally got the first rod on. But he could not get the 2nd rod on. Mind you, this is just taking one end of the rod and hooking it into a hole that's already there. After several attempts, he was clearly frustrated. He then dropped the rod on the ground and just left. Yes, just left and didn't come back. I asked the first employee, who was still observing, "Did your buddy just leave?". Guess the answer was yes. This was so comical, I just laughed and decided not to make a stink since it wasn't like the store was filled any experts. In less than 5 min, I put the rod and bracket on drove off just shaking my head and laughing. Suggestion to Batteries Plus in Midlothian. More training for your employees would help.

Katie and Erica were absolutely fabulous and helped me change my car battery. On top of an excellent service, we laughed and had an awesome time. Will definitely be back and recommend their services to anyone I know :)
