DO NOT USE HER SERVICES! We booked her as the planner for my daughters wedding, on May 20th. When we first met her, Sarah, told my husband, daughter, and myself that we wouldn't have to be concerned with anything that's why we were hiring her so that we could enjoy this day stress-free. Now, I do not know how she did not write that date on the contract and why she didn't bother to check the contract before April 28, 2017. She had an entire year to review that contract for accuracy, and yet she chose not to do so. Instead, she waited until four weeks before our daughter's wedding to discover she had doubled booked herself. In Sarahs attempt to rectify her mistake she asked another "planner" to take her place. They met with my daughter to look at the decor. At no time did I see the stand-in take any written notes but I did hear Sarah discuss with my daughter and her about the decor and set a date to meet at the venue to go over in detail where everything was to be set up and placed. On May 4, my daughter, the owner of the venue, myself, her stand in and Sarah met at the venue. My daughter walked with them and discussed the setup. Again, no notes were important enough to be written down. We were assured by Sarah several times that things would run smoothly. On the day of the rehearsal, we waited 25 minutes for her stand in to show up. It was then that three of my family members began to coordinate the rehearsal. They lined the wedding party up and executed this twice before the stand in showed up late. Her excuse was babysitting issues however she did not call to let anyone know. Then she asked what we had done, and she needed us to "run" through this again so that she could see how the line up was. She stayed for about 15 minutes and left. On Saturday, May 20, my husband arrived at early to see if she had accomplished anything. When he walked into the venue, everything was where it was exactly the previous evening. The site was open for her to begin the setup process at 9 am, she came at 11. She brought no one to assist her, and several things still needed to be done. She began to literally spin around in circles asking my husband, my son and anyone that would answer where she should place items. I was assisting my daughter and the bridesmaids and began to get several calls from them telling me that I needed to get to the venue to show her what to do. That is when I called Sarah. I do not know what she said in her conversation with the her but I can tell you, whatever was said was not helpful. As my anger began to rise, my family saw that they were needed to do what we hired Sarah to do. They immediately went to the venue and took charge of the setup. When they arrived, nothing was set up it was now 1 pm. After the ceremony and while we were at the reception, the stand-in went to where the girls had gotten ready to "clean-up". She threw everything into my daughter's car. Hangers, boxes, suitcases, and shoes were everywhere in her car. She even threw a box of personalized champagne flutes, which my daughter had purchased, and broke my daughter's flute. Every vendor, brought additional help, as they knew how important their job was to the success of the day. They fulfilled their commitment. Her stand-in was completely unprepared to do her job, and that is a reflection of Sarah. She was in charge and did nothing. Sarah assured us numerous times that we wouldn't have to worry that everything would be taken care of on this day. It was only because of my family that my daughter's dream wedding became a reality. She should be ashamed of herself for conducting her business like this. Her " sorry" does not excuse her for a mistake that she made. It does not excuse the inept abilities of her stand-in. Her contract stated that she would provide the services and she did not. If you want a planner who pons your day off on someone else, then she's the one to hire.I emailed Sarah to let her know how upset I was with everything and she didn't seem to care as she hasn't responded. She doesn't deserve the one star I gave.
