I wrote this over the summer but forgot to submit it. Figured it was better late than never. Unfortunately I no longer shop here or bring my bikes here for repair. While the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I've run into a couple issues in the past concerning repairs, one of which was serious. Back over the summer, I had a fork in for a 100 hr service which took 2 or 3 weeks longer than I was told it would take. Once the service was completed and I got my bike back, ~10-15 miles later the top of the fork blew out in the middle of the ride and I got hydraulic fluid all over my face. Upon closer inspection it looked like it might have been cross threaded upon install or over torqued. Regardless, I had to cover 70-80% of the costs to have them buy and install a new fork even though the failure was likely due to poor installation. Like I said earlier, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but don't expect them to do you too many favors if something goes wrong.

My parents moved us to Manassas in 78. We started going here for all our bike needs in 82 or so. You wont find a place with a greater knowledge of or passion for bikes. Good people, good place!

Ben in the service dept was great, I bought a 16 inch Specialized rip rock for my nephew off the used market however I had lost the proprietary bolts for the training wheels, Just 3 days before his birthday; Which is when I am giving it to him. I called into the shop, Ben said he had them, I Said I wouldn't be at the shop until just before they closed- , "not a problem" He said. I show up at 5:53 on Tuesday evening just before close and not only did Ben hand over the bolts with a smile, Excellent customer service for the locals of Manassas! Now my Nephew will have an awesome time on his birthday and I'll be able to take him out on a proper ride for the first time, all because of Ben. Thanks again!
