Rozana Mediterranean Grill

My wife and I tried this place on a whim. The atmosphere in this restsurant consists of a windowless room adorned in cheap strange colored lit sculptures in a lunch room sort of environment. The ceiling is covered in square led light panels which make everything feel very sterile and uncomfortable. We waited 10-20 minutes for our seever to take our drink order and then 10-20 to ask for our food. We were just about to walk out but we were starving. I finally ordered and the server could barely understand me. He served us very overseasoned overly salty food. The wrapped grape leaves were canned. Oddly enough I believe the server was also the cook. He never brought us a check. It was not until some kid arrived to serve 30 minutes after we finished eating, that he said oh, do you need a check? “Yes please get me out of here! “ i have not been so anxious to leave a restaurant before, i felt like I had made a huge mistake about 10 minutes in and the claustrophobic windowless sterile lighting and obscure decour just put me on edge. It was an abysmal experience. To the owner, you need to learn how to efficiently serve customers. You were severely understaffed. Your food was not fresh/canned grape leaves, and very over seasoned, the fries had way too much salt. The restaurant is very poorly decorated with no natural light, it made me anxious and we wanted to leave as soon as we sat down.

I was so surprised by this place. The food is great, surprisingly cheap (I would happily pay more), and the staff are so nice and attentive. After one visit, Rozana has become one of mt favourite restaurants in Lynchburg

Good food, good service. Solid choice if you like Mediterranean type food. Compare to Zoë's, but it's better.
