I’ve filmed dozens of weddings, been to many as a guest, a groomsman in several, and finally got married myself last month and I can definitively say, Southern Provisions is my favorite wedding venue I have ever had the privilege of going to. 2020 has been a tough time to plan a wedding, and somehow, with every conversation, Rebekah Moody put both mine and my wife’s mind at ease with answered questions, and with her generous spirit and positivity. It’s very clear that Rebekah has a passion for people, weddings and for couples. The format of southern provisions venue rental for weddings is also excellent. Having the extra days built in to the rental to get things done at a steady pace makes the wedding day infinitely less stressful. As someone who likes to do everything in one day/knock everything out at once, I didn’t fully appreciate this perk until it was happening, but It was great. There are countless other ways that choosing to get married at Southern Provisions was the best wedding planning decision we could make. For any event- wedding, holiday party, baby shower, banquet, etc- Look no further, because you will not and can not find any place better than Southern Provisions. Rebekah, the owner, is the BEST venue owner or quite honestly just the best person in existence. From the moment my (then) fiancé and I walked in the door, we were blown away with kindness and positivity from Rebekah. We had checked out some venues for our wedding prior to meeting at Southern Provisions and had walked away knowing we’d have to discuss the details further and sleep on it before making a decision. With Rebekah, we knew right away that she was the one! We could not walk away without booking immediately and we are so glad we did. The venue is obviously beautiful but working alongside Rebekah before and during COVID-19 was the best decision we made other than to get married. The space has beautiful natural light, has an adorable courtyard space, and can be completely made to fit anyone’s style. We had Thursday and Friday to set up before the wedding (a convenience not often found in venue spaces) and Rebekah was always there to lend advice (wedding related or not) and a helping hand. She was also kind enough to provide linen masks to all of our guests and she made everything run so smoothly without us having to hire an outside wedding coordinator for $1000+ more. I cannot sing the praises of Rebekah and Southern Provisions enough and struggle to think of anyone who would not benefit from using their services! As a side note: If you really can’t think of an occasion or reason for needing a beautiful venue space, please go check out the Linen Provisions store- Rebekah and her team craft some beautiful, high quality napkins, curtains, aprons and so much more!
