Service was very slow, even with considering the amount of people the restaurant had to serve to. Our server was polite and most helpful during the brief interlude when present (difficult to track down, visited our table very sparsely in a span of maybe three and a half hours and had to wait an hour after our table of three was ready to order before the server first returned after his initial introduction). The food is crazy good. Another downside is how pricey the food here is; but it was well-worth the cost for the food alone. As good as the food is, I would rather not spend 5 hours in TOTAL for JUST dinner.

This past Saturday, made a reservation at 745 PM. When we arrived, the hostess seemed to not know what 7:45 meant (on our reservation) until another Hostess pointed out that it meant 7:45 . Okay, well I guess that was just a indicator. We sat on the patio with another couple near the band. It was a beautiful night, so the outside ambiance was nice. The inside seemed to be a bit hectic and maybe a little small. We ordered some drinks, but they were out of most beer selections, but I'm not that picky, so that was fine. We ordered the fried Oyster and Gator Bites appetizers.....and they never came. After an hour, we inquired about them and the waitress only just realized she never brought them and had not taken our order. We ordered four entrees. They also were significantly delayed. After waiting 15-20 more minutes, we just cancelled the appetizers when the waitress told us that they had just run out of fried oysters. Hmm. We asked her to check on our main course, and she argued a bit with my friend about doing that and shortly disappeared. 40 more minutes go by, and my friend sought out a manager who immediately took charge and went to the kitchen...returning with our food almost immediately. Curiously, our waitress chose to reappear at that time and acted like nothing had happened. Odd. We ended up eating at about 10 PM. The food was decent, however, the wait was far too long. When we ordered another round of drinks, they were out of all but light beer, and apparently that was in short supply. The manager comped the entrees on the ticket. In general, the staff seemed unprepared for a rush (Leesburg had an antique car event), and the kitchen was not prepared....at all. To get us our meal, I think the manager actually had to take some from another ticket (some things were kind of different from what we ordered...sides were changed). All in all, the manager did the right thing, however, the clumsiness of the service was not desirable and the food was middle of the road to me. Okra's would be a good alternate choice and likely one I will choose.
