    Called to see if ground floor was available and said I needed to back into the space due to disability, in front of the door and pet friendly. Assured me yes, available and ok to make reservation on the app for Choice Hotels, of which I am a member. I arrived 20 minutes later. Receptionist gave me a room key with room # starting with a 2. I said I must have ground floor, she said it is. I said I have to back in, in front of the door. She said they didn't have that and this room was very short walk. I park close to the hallway she described and the room was very far away and on THE SECOND FLOOR! Now close to midnight and in a lot of pain, I walked back to my car (using my cane) and drove back to the lobby. I said that I called before booking and you assured me you had what I needed. If you didn't have it, I would have booked elsewhere! She changed the key and gave me ground floor next to the MANY empty rooms and empty parking spaces. I entered the room to find a filthy stained bedspread. The room was dirty. The frig was not plugged in. I had to move a heavy table to plug it in. Electrical outlets are coming out of the walls. I couldn't move rooms again due to my pain. I tossed the bedspread into to tub and used blankets I had in my car. She was watching security cameras in the lobby. She knew what was available! I had to park 4 spaces from my room. As I was unloading my car, a couple with a dog arrived and went into a room with parking outfront. I have been a CHoice member for 15 or 20 years!! This is unacceptable. Rooms: Gross

    You get what you pay for, and this hotel did the job. When I stay in a budget hotel, I am concerned with the serious stuff - safety & security, no bedbugs, comfortable bed. This hotel succeeded in providing these things. The lady at the check-in was very nice. The hotel grounds were well-lit and had security cameras all around. I was pleasantly surprised at the bed and pillows. They were newer and very comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep before resuming my drive. I'd stay here again.
