Capital Area Pediatrics - Herndon

We have been going here for over 2 years now and have been very satisfied. We receive excellent care from all the local practices and various Doctors but by far we love Dr. Amin seeing our child. He has that personal care and attention that you can't teach in med school, it just takes a special person and he is exactly that! Low wait times in lobby and in room (across all locations), easy scheduling, never had an issue getting an appointment (sick/same days) or well visits. There is always an office open somewhere for those unexpected visits on a weekend or evening. Overall very satisfied and enthusiastic about sharing this practice with other parents seeking quality medical care. Update: Dr. Amin is no longer with Capital Area Pediatrics.....huge loss.

This office does not have anyone to attend a phone call, if there is a need to schedule an appointment, even if you are an existing patient.

We've been visiting this practice since 2015 and in general our experiences were good with the providers until recently during a well visit for our kids we were highly pressurized for getting Covid vaccines and upon cross questioning on the vaccine safety the provider Dr A. used words like the kids might 'end up in crematory' if not vaccinated etc. I felt like in the middle of a very pushy vaccine sale and for sure the poor choice of words in front of kids was not required. The management should coach the providers on not using this fear inducing methodology and use of such inappropriate words with their patients and kids. If someone wants a covid vaccine or not it's their decision.....stop pushing parents and threatening them.
