RVAV was amazing to work with from start to finish. Gary's team did an initial site visit and had great suggestions on how to maximize lighting in our backyard space. They were very flexible the wedding reception weekend when the weather wasn't exactly cooperating with our original setup. They set up Friday, finished up Saturday morning, came back to cover up lights from the rain in the afternoon, and broke down lights after the reception that night and Sunday afternoon. They worked well with our tent vendor Party Perfect. Anne was especially kind and helpful, and Noah had great ideas on creatively lighting the space. I highly recommend RVAV and would use them for future events in a heartbeat. They truly were the all star vendors for our reception!

On behalf of the Chesterfield Chamber, RVAV allowed us to deliver "hollywood studio" quality presentation for our Virtual Gala. In the midst of people suffering from Zoom fatigue, we were challenged with developing a program that kept people engage, tuned in and excited. Once the "GALA Movie" was over viewers stayed tuned in still participating in the Chat on how they wanted to keep the show going. That was the goal...having viewer hanging on to seat for the next episode. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The team was top notch and they were affordable and willing to work within a budget.

Working for non-profits, I am very cost conscientious. Gary went out of his way to ensure our events were done professionally at a cost we could afford. Any issues that came up during the event, he and his staff were responsive and made necessary corrections. Live events take skill and the ability to problem solve. We look forward to working with Gary again.

My wife and I hired RVAV for our wedding reception. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by their services. The uplighting was not consistent or as dense through many times of the night nor was the color scheme that we selected adhered to for the night. Most importantly, due to some ill placement of the lighting, we have photos and video that reflect colored lighting on our clothes and bodies. This should not have been the case especially during such significant events as our first dances. The bride's white dress should under no circumstances be colored. Also, later into the night our colors were oversaturated to the point in some photos colors were transposed on guests. Even when our photographer tried to direct RVAV to make some changes with the lighting they did not fully take instruction. We had to email Gary, the owner, multiple times to get a response regarding our dissatisfaction and request for a refund. He admitted to some wrong doing via phone but then back tracked. In short, after going back and forth with him, we received a condescending email that threatened to have us go to court if he didn't find our refund request acceptable. We suggested an amount we thought he would accept in order to be able to recoup some type of cost. We did receive a partial refund but of course this still does not negate the fact that the services rendered were not up to par especially for something as extremely important as a wedding that can't be done over.
