The Little tigers program was a very good experience for our son. It was full of TKD basics, but more than that... manners, respect, academics, the Cho's focused on family and respect first, too. As with any commitment, you do need to consider this program carefully before signing on the bottom line. Is a two year or three year commitment right for your family, bank account and child? It was for us. At the end of the third year of the commitment, our then 9 year old was not quite ready to earn a black belt and we had options to resign for an extended period, or not... and he chose.not. Still, he learned a lot and ended one step below black belt (red belt with double black stripes). While he may not carry as much of the TKD skills with him today as we wish he would, the intangibles are part of his fabric.

My daughter has been attending Master Cho's for going on 3 years. As a parent, tae kwon do was exciting and fun for her at first, and I loved that about the company. As of recently (the past year) the service of the instructors and staff has gotten really poor and her progression became stagnant. At the Glen Allen location the red belt class is over crowded and doesn't have enough teachers for the amount of students they have. I called to complain to the owners twice and about three months later I still have not received a phone call or email. I am not happy about what's going on in this school and she only has 4 months left in our 3 year contract. At this point I'm just ready for it to be over. But I definitely wouldn't recommend them to another family.
