Apex Vista Company

I was recruited back in September to work for their Brinks Home Security account. Everything was going fine for the most part, until the last week of training. We had finally gained access to our accounts and the schedules were completely different from what was agreed upon and when I call the recruiter, he has no clue and says he will have to find out. 2 days go by and I still here nothing so I called and said I cannot work that shift and need to know how to turn my equipment back in. This is on a Thursday, he tells me he will reach out to Brinks on Monday. Thursday comes around again and still nothing, no responses to my texts or emails. I had to call Brinks directly to be told I could turn it in whenever I wanted. Next day, I still have not received my final paycheck for 24 hours. I call and the recruiter asks if I even turned in my hours, of course I did. I turned that stuff in on my last day working but the system doesnt show that. Hmm. He tells me the company had a security breach over the weekend so they are working overtime because of that. He tells me he will reach out and see if they can get a check sent out Monday and will call me when he hears something. Well here it is Monday and I have heard nothing and he is not responding again. I am at the point of reporting them now to the Workforce and BBB.

Just another job-shop. They hand out “senior recruiter” titles like lollipops to children. It makes them feel good about their poor business skills and lack of attention to details. They promise one salary and after you land the job they tell you, “oops. Our mistake. You’ll get $5/hour less. Take it or find another job elsewhere.” They promise good benefits but health insurance is a HDHP. Be warned. They are based out of a conservative “christian values” state, which means they hate you because they need warm bodies, where instead cold dead bodies might work for less money.
