It’s very sad that most people live paycheck to paycheck and yet there is no compassion from any corporation anymore. We paid our bill early, we have automatic payments but always pay our bill early if we have the money to make sure our power bill is paid. Apparently this particular time that we paid our bill early, aep decided to STILL take out another $140 from our bank account. So we paid our bill on September 30th in full, and yet they charged us again on October 4th for the “automatic” payment. We called customer service and was told it would take “30 days to process getting our $140 refunded to us” or we could need to call the bill matrix number and still have to wait 7days to get it refunded. It’s sad because we really needed that money. Of course it’s going to our “fault” even if you pay your bills and are never late. Shame on you for making a hard working family who are currently struggling with money, decide if they are going to get groceries or gas for the next week.
