Difficult to get a hold of. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. Finally got someone on the phone, and they were rude and acted like I was an inconvenience. Update: payment refunded, still would not recommend this business.

Tsunami Swimming is a great environment for kids to learn to swim or improve their swimming. The instructors are knowledgeable and the children respond well to their instructions. We love the swim and stay fit program that's offered.

Took my 8 year old non-swimming daughter to 2 successive sessions (6 lessons, 1/week). I became concerned immediately when I realized that only juveniles (14, 15, 16) were "instructors". The pool was inappropriate for small or inexperienced swimmer because the depth was slightly more than 4 feet which meant the shorter children would be struggling to hold on to the sides since they did not attempt to teach them to tread water first. The young "instructors" attempted to teach the children to float but would routinely let them go before center mass was floating. This caused many of the children to suck in water and become frightened. My daughter passed some elements in session 1 that she didn't pass in the repeat of session 1. After that I was done and I enrolled her in a 6 week program--kazam, the child is now doing the breast stroke, freestyle, and she can swim several laps the length of an Olympic sized pool. The second program had adult instructors exclusively.
