        Cox is absolute garbage!! My husband tried to set up new service for his dad that lives 2 hours away. They both took off work and gave the new address multiple times. Cox tried to change the day even though they were told it had to be on a certain day. Then they changed the time. When the technician showed up it was to OUR HOUSE not the new address they had been given. When we called to talk to someone there was no, "We're sorry for the mistake." Just a, "Well, we can try and get a technician out today but there are no guarantees." We asked to talk to a manager and after waiting almost 30 minutes was told it would be another 20 minutes at least. Your internet is horrible and your customer service is garbage!! DO NOT GO WITH COX

        Stay away from Cox if you have a choice of another provider. Unfortunately,Cox is the ONLY available internet provider permitted to service my area. Cox service is TERRIBLE. I am in the midst of a 10 plus days of service interruption with no end in site. No one at Cox has been able to give me a date in which when the service will be up and running again. This is unacceptable and extremely inconvenient as I work from home. The use of my computer is essential. One company should NEVER be afforded this type of monopoly over customers.

        The Internet in our "area" goes out on a near weekly basis for multiple hours. I've been told by representatives that it is a result of a malware issue on Cox's end and told it was an issue with the relay for our area. Either way this has been going on for months and has not been resolved. Whenever possible, do not use Cox for internet service.
