They have had the workings to my clock for a year!! I inherited it from my grandmother 40 years ago. I call every week and leave a message because they don't answer the phone! Said work was guaranteed. In the beginning they were slow, but good. The first time they brought my clock back it worked for a few weeks, the second time was the same. They are putting in a battery operated clock now. That is if I ever get it back! They won't return my calls and I even left a message that I would come get it! Owner of the company said I could have the clock with battery component for free because they can't get the clock working. I just want my grandmothers clock back!! PLEASE RETURN MY CALLS

In case you didn't get a clear message from the previous reviews, I bring to your attention that I too have been struggling for more than a year to get my grandfather clock works back from Mark Burnette. The clock is a family heirloom. Every effort to get the works returned has failed. I have lost $600 for the initial (and failed) repair, another $1000 to have new works installed, and court costs. A few days ago, I contacted the Virginia State Police. They recovered my parts within 24 hours with the help of the father. Sadly, it appears as though the son has ruined his father's (former) business and his excellent reputation. The business/mobile phone number posted on his Website is now disconnected. I can only hope this will save others from what I, and others, have gone through.

Took my clock and can not find it in shop so he sold my clock. Do not use this repair shop because you might not get your clock back.
