They know who you are, they want your business and they go out of their way to help those of us who are a little "banking deficient". So, take my word for it, it is worth changing to this bank, I promise you will not regret the move.

After 6 months of great banking with this branch my husband and I were ultimately distressed to learn that First Citizens was suddenly charging $12 out of our account for a service fee. Unbeknownst to us when I called the Piney Forest branch where we had first setup the account, a woman, presumably the bank manager, explained that because we had been recieving paper statements in the mail, after 6 months we would be charged a monthly fee of $12 for them. I was obviously dumbfounded because there was no prior email, text or telephone notification of such a stipulation, and the account had been overdrawn by 7 dollars at this point. We pleaded with the woman to reverse the fee as a one time courtesy, but she rudely refused and said "It's only $7," even after I stressed how we were just barely able to make ends meet this week and could not afford an overdraft charge on top of it all if the transaction went into the next day. Needless to say she was umempathetic toward us, so we took the complaint over her head to corporate and they fixed everything for us., so thanks for the hassle.
