I looked Fardowners up as a place to visit after visiting Chiles Peach Orchard from Richmond. I loved their story, and dug the menu for satisfying the hubs and our 3 year old. The little guy got a burger that he thoroughly enjoyed and my husband got the Southern Belle (chicken sandwich with bacon and BBQ) and said it was one of the best chicken sandwiches he's ever had! The staff was super friendly as were the patrons and as we talked, one told me about some attractions in Staunton and Natural Bridge where we are headed. We will probably swing back by to try something else on the menu on Sunday headed back!

Four people with four different meals, all delicious! We ate a black and blue burger, a blackened tilapia sandwich, a steak & cheese sandwich, and a pan seared salmon.
We started with the HOT HOT wings, I highly recommend them. Also, the tater tots are crispy, not oily, and addictive, and the beer choices were spot on.
Fardowners was a great find for my family and I after our hike on the SNP. I forgot to take pictures because we ate everything so quickly. We'll visit again!
