A good place to go in my experience. Emily is always good about solving my needs and has a good attitude. I recently had an issue come up that I need immediate attention for. I called to see if they could fit me in and I got in the next day.

As a critical care nurse myself, I have found it difficult to find providers that are as detail oriented in my care as I would like them to be. After over a decade of searching for a PCP that I felt I could trust, I found Emily Jolly Smith, NP. Emily is humble and attentive to her patients, and does not automatically jump to medication as a solution to the problem, which I respect, as medication is not always the answer. She listens and navigates your healthcare from a big picture. She has helped me look at each of my medical conditions and then explained how they all weave together, while developing a plan to better my mental health and physical health with combination therapy that includes some medications but is paired with holistic advice. I recently had extensive jaw surgery that has a year-long recovery process. Emily has checked on me multiple times to make sure I am healing well and that my anxiety is managed while I have had to have my jaw/mouth rubber banded shut for nearly 6 months. For the last 8 years I have worked in trauma ICU's up and down the east coast. During that time, I have learned one valuable lesson: Nurse Practitioners should never be viewed as less than when compared to a MD. They often have a clearer picture of their patients as they know how to approach care from both a hands-on nurse as well as a provider. The amount of education required is extensive and in general I have had a better experience with nurse practitioners. Over the last 6 months that I have been seeing Emily, she has completely transformed how I view our health care system, renewing my faith that excellent providers are out there, sometimes they are just a little hard to find. I would highly recommend Emily Jolly Smith as a PCP. In fact, I have, to numerous amounts of family and friends. I am extremely lucky to have found Emily and am thankful for her care and expertise in my health journey.

I waited 8 months to see Emily Jolly last yr as my PCP. My 1st appt was ok. BUT I went to see her a few days ago for weight mgmt. Not so much to get wegovy, but something to help suppress my appetite that has recently gone haywire. What an absolute waste of time. Not only did she tell me not to worry about my 20 lb weight gain or that weight is just a number and that maybe its just "muscle", but she proceeds to tell me she doesn't prescribe any oral medications that can help me because she doesn't like them..I didnt ask if she liked them..and its not really her concern if she likes them or not if they can help a patient..BUT while she tells me these things she proceeds to tell me she is taking wegovy herself and has lost almost 30 lbs. She told me to lose weight the old fashioned way and there was nothing she could do for me. It was completely insensitive and unempathetic to say the least. She can't help me but can help herself and gloat about it? I regret waiting as long as I did to find a provider close to my house. Id rather driver further away than see Jolly again- she needs to get educated on how to change her bedside manner. Id also like to see a real doctor and not a NP.

Not happy with my visit at this location. The reception was very pleasant, but as far as getting my needs met absolutely NOT! I was there on a Friday and on Saturday I had to go to Patient First for something I had already discussed with the nurse. So if this person hadve done their job. Maybe I wouldnt had to go and see yet another doctor which means another bill. I need to find another practice ASAP. What a waste of time.
