Today, on April 10th, my daughter (5 years old) experienced outright refusal of service and endured extremely harsh treatment from the Dentist, hygienist (Bailey), and office manager. This level of unprofessionalism is unprecedented in my experience, and I am appalled.
It is imperative for all Black patients seeking medical care to advocate fiercely for our children. Bailey's excessive chastisement of my child for simply being a 5-year-old is completely unacceptable. When I addressed the unfair treatment and inappropriate behavior, I faced retaliation for speaking up. Without being there for initial interaction with my daughter she said that she didnt appreciate me speaking to her staff and stated we arent a good fit and we should seek treatment else where. I was never disrespectful or rude. I remained firm in a boundary that my daughter should not have been spoken to in that manner.
In 2024, such treatment is unequivocally unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
I urge all parents to reconsider bringing their children here. As echoed in other reviews, the dentist's demeanor is rude, condescending, and exhibits a blatant lack of professionalism.
