This organization is A++. They are professional and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. This is the only way to go if you need to sell all the contents of a property (or any contents). We didn't have to do anything! Chelsea Peoples was absolutely wonderful!

Peoples Auction is superb! Ive bought and sold through them and could not have been happier with the outcomes on both fronts. In holding my own auction (after being a customer for over a year) they were professional, courteous and beyond helpful. I can honestly say they went above and beyond my expectations. The auction went smoothly and they handle everything like pros. Well worth the small commission to not have to deal with hagglers in listing individual items on other sites and then having to accommodate pick ups and viewing ga etc. peoples auction handles ALL of that for you and you get one check at the end.

This is the first time I have used an auction house to sell items. I was moving and downsizing. Chelsea really explained everything very clearly and I was very surprised and pleased with the results. I will certainly use Peoples Auction Co. again should I need to sell any items and will be looking at upcoming auctions to possibly purchase items for myself. The process was made so easy for me. Hands down the best auction house period. Chelsea was awesome, when I closed down my antique store, she let me use their trailer to load all my stuff and then came out and picked it up. They sorted, photographed and listed everything. The entire auction process was a little over a month long but it was totally worth it. Peoples auction really does handle all the grunt work for you. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I actually netted way more after everything was said and done , I highly recommend this place. Thanks for super easy process.

While this company does an acceptable job of acquiring and listing items, their descriptions and photos may not always be accurate, BUYER BEWARE. For example, I recently purchased three high ticket items from them, and there was an issue where two of these lots were absolutely incorrect (that's a 67% error folks). The lots were part of several others where the exact same photograph was used for all of them, so I purchased three total. Since photography was duplicated, and NOT THE REAL photographs of each item were used, two of these lots were not correct, and were indeed similar but different items, on a scale of 20% of the value of what I had anticipated purchasing. When I called to discuss this error, they informed me that I would have to return them this week, and that was all they would be able to offer. I do not live near the auction, I asked a family friend to pick these up for me, and told them I was unable to make it this week. There was no resolution, no meeting at a medium, no asking if I could make it within the next week, just straight up blaming me for not coming to the preview and only using the photos THEY POSTED as an indication of what the items were. Shouldn't what you advertise as selling be what you have to actually sell? This company would disagree! So, overall, two stars as everything else went smoothly. However, the unwillingness to work with their customers, inability to admit they had made a mistake, and general rudeness on the phone leaves me with a frustrated feeling and lack of desire to ever return.
