Your decision to interrupt the Tour de France for the removal of a statue was irresponsible. There is a much larger picture to be considered, and the removal of the statue does not compare to an international sporting event. The statue removal should have, and likely will be broadcast during the normal news broadcast segments.
There are a large number of residents here in Charlottesville who are less invested as the minority of residents who are overly invested in the presence of a statue. The removal itself is a separate issue, its your decision to overshadow the Tour that is narrow minded.
