When one hits 70 years of age in this world there aren't many things with our bodies we can expect significant improvement in, right? As It turns out I found out there is one! Having cataract surgery. After talking with Drs prior to surgery I looked forward to improvement in my vision. However I under-estimated what the difference would be. I can only speak for myself but the difference in my vision is literally astounding. The Eye clinic staff and Dr. Marcantonio ( my surgeon ) made the process before, during, and post surgery clearly understandable and pleasant. I highly recommend getting the surgery, and using this facility to have it done.

Dr. Grover is arrogant and condescending His staff is rude and unprofessional. At the beginning of treatment, they are more focused on making sure the patient signs the appropriate waivers to cover them and.their surgery center than they are making sure the patient understands what is going to happen during the treatment. They seemed to be unconcerned if the patient felt cared for or secure in the process

Dr Marcantonio was wonderful! I first met him when he responded to an eye hemorrhage emergency on a Sunday. In October 2023, he performed my cataract surgery. I am deeply grateful to Dr Marcantonio for his skills, and kindness. The surgery very successful.

They do not take new patients for contact lenses as their website states, and they will not tell you this over the phone when you make an appointment either. The doctor was very nice about the mistake and gave me a contact prescription based on her knowledge and what my glasses prescription came out to be but how do you trust a prescription like that and then spend hundreds of dollars on contacts that are wrong? Her generosity to do that does not make up for the fact I went there specifically for contacts and used my only exam covered by insurance so I have to either order contacts and hope they are what they need to be or spend hundreds of dollars on another exam to ensure I don't waste money on the contacts. The office should confirm with the patient what type of eye exam they need and advise them they no longer take patients for contacts when scheduling and/or they need to update their website to reflect this change. Additionally, if you are going to accept insurance, your staff should be knowledgeable that most insurance companies only cover 1 exam and if a patient says multiple times they are only there for contacts you should advise them to leave and go somewhere else instead of repeatedly telling the patient "at least you'll only have to do the fitting portion somewhere else" knowing that fitting is going to cost hundreds of dollars.

Very disappointed with Dr Marcantonio. I went for an eye exam and proceeded to get glasses with his prescription and than could not see out of them, even allowing extra time for my eyes to adjust to the new prescription. To no avail . I than went to another eye Dr who retested me and rewrote my prescription . They suggested I go back to Dr Marcantonio to get him to re-test my eye sight so that I can than get my new glasses with new prescription so I would not have to pay for a new set of glasses . They would just reorder with new exam at no additional cost . Im told this is somewhat common. What Im most disappointed is Dr. Marcantonio is trying to charge me an additional $110. for correcting the prescription with other testing. I called the office to dispute this and they said I need to talk to the Dr . He never came to the phone nor did he ever contact me . Im still waiting. I feel I should not have to pay for even stated I would not be charged .
