Carmike Six

It's a dollar fifty to see a movie, and the people manning the place were friendly and helpful, even when we stood around for fifteen minutes trying to decide which movie we wanted to watch more. I understand that some people want luxury seating and jalapenos dipped in virgin olive oil to nibble on while viewing, but look, you can pay seven times the price at the new theater if you want to, and you still won't get your jalapenos dipped in virgin olive oil. So at least try the place once - it's in a nice area, and right off emmet st; it's accessible and, as far as I can see, a great place for all of us late-night moviegoing Hoos. Five stars and two thumbs up all the way.

Ya know what, yeah I get that it's older and shows its age now that the new Regal is in town, but it's still a decent movie theatre. They get second run movies so the ticket prices are really cheap, and they have the best popcorn in town. Also, as an added bonus, the theatre's aren't as packed, which makes actually watching the movies there more enjoyable.

I agree that this is a wonderful way to go to the movies at a buck fifty each. Movies have been current movies, comfy, clean theaters and same good goodies though they are the regular refreshment costs. I am excited about this place. I hope it keeps rolling. I do think the word needs to get out that this deal is available. I try and tell people and believe the word will spread. I wish the Carmike the best and hope this can create a win win for all. Love it.
