Dr. Yliana Acevedo MD

My experience with Dr. Yliana Acevedo was extremely disappointing and concerning. I visited the center in June 2023 with symptoms of stomach pain and digestive issues. After a brief consultation, Dr. Acevedo prescribed Omeprazole for two weeks, followed by a test to detect the Helicobacter Pylori bacteria after a few weeks. In my second appointment, Dr. Acevedo barely spent a few minutes on my case and abruptly decided to cancel the test (after I took the test and we were waiting for the results) without providing a proper explanation or addressing my concerns. After months of suffering and additional consultations with another doctor, it was confirmed that I was infected with the Helicobacter Pylori bacteria, the same test that she had canceled. This late diagnosis has resulted in prolonged suffering and the need for more expensive and extensive treatment. Furthermore, I continue to receive bills for services that I consider deficient and inadequate, services that did not meet expected standards, which is completely unacceptable. In summary, my experience with Dr. Acevedo was characterized by a lack of professionalism, empathy, and an inadequate diagnosis. I would not recommend this clinic to other patients due to my negative experience. They continue to demand payment because apparently they are only interested in money and not the well-being of the patients.

The two girls at the front desk are incredibly rude and unhelpful, Dr. Acevedo is fantastic, listens carefully and is thorough with her advice, its a shame the admin staff almost makes you not want to come back
