Tazewell County Animal Shelter

Just recently visited to adopt the newest member of our family, our dog Zeek. The shelter was well maintained and clean. The staff were great and the animals well loved and cared for. My only concern is I feel the community could help out more by donating and sacrificing there time because this is a non profit and really needed establishment. It's a shame they have to ruff it so much due to the lack of community support.

I have never met anyone more rude than the owner of this establishment. She does not care about the animals as much as her income.

I've been calling and calling and calling and they never pick up. The one time they did they were very rude and unprofessional. Get the animals if you can, but I'm warning you, it's a hassle. They also hung up on me multiple times. Good luck to anyone who wants to adopt an animal.
