The staff listens to what you are saying. The doctor explains whats going on when you get your injections. It helps when you show were pain spots are. They can figure out what type of injections to give.

I went to Dr. for a new patient visit last week. I filled out alot of paperwork that I had expected. I had another appt. scheduled to go for treatment. I was kinda feeling skeptical before my "2nd visit" He doesn't know what RFL means. He isn't ok with Belbucca or medical marijuana, he doesn't know what DBT means even though these are the treatments I've received that actually have finally helped me with the pain ive fought with for many years. I showed up to my 2nd visit 15 min. early. They couldn't find my appt. I was handed a IPad after sitting there for 20 MIn. to fill out the questionnaire all over again, I did but I'm now frustrated. I sat there for a total of 40 min. I went up to desk to reschedule, no one there. I finally just left. If someone would've been a professional and explained why it was taking them so long, I would've respected their time. They however didn't respect mine.

Was referred to to Dr. Colliver at Valley Sports Medicine by my podiatrist. Dr. Colliver did a visual exam of my feet, a test to see if I had any nerve damage to my feet.  It was decided that there was nerve damage and recommended that I get an MRI on my spine to determine if the nerve damage was there.  I was then handed a back brace (my back has never hurt).  I asked if Medicare paid for the brace and told yes.  I never used the back brace. I received a bill for $500 dollars for the back brace. My next visit, I met with Dr. Colliver, he informed me that there was nothing that could be done for the nerve damage, except applyinglidocaine or something similar to my feet.  The visit was $220 of which I am responsible for $91.48.  My point is, Dr. Colliver charges more than is reasonable for very little or professional information (other than the nerve test).  When I called their billing department about the bill I received, they told me I should have known what Medicare would pay for and what they should not.  Maybe I should have, but no other physician I have ever seen has told me this.  In fact, if Medicare does not pay for a cast, insert, or any procedure done, they inform me of that.  DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC OR DOCTOR. Their services are lacking in skill and profession. Their fees are high and their courtesy is nil.
