I can't say enough good things about Janet Ashworth. We met by chance at an open-house and I was immediately struck by her warm and genuine nature. I had plans to move to the Richmond area, but didn't really have any sort of deadline. She kept in touch for the next 8 months and sent me potential houses. More than that, she really helped me to define what kind of house I needed (near family, in the country, off a main road, quiet neighborhood, etc.) House-hunting with her was like hanging out with a friend! We banged out 10 houses in a few hours. She has a way of really KNOWING what you need. I remember one house in particular where we drove up to it, and before I could even say anything, she said, "No, this isn't it." And we drove off. And when we found my new home, she said, "This is it!" And I said, "I know!" As a first-time home buyer, she was such a support because there was so much I didn't know. She was able to negotiate some repairs prior to closing, as well as closing costs. When it came to closing, it was so nice to have her guide me through the process. Five years later, when my friends needed to sell their house on a very tight deadline, I knew she was the one to do it. And she did! Buying OR selling, she is tireless and dedicated. She will find your dream home or help you sell the house you're in. She's just that good.

I was fortunate to have Janet offer her professional services in the purchase of a property in Ashland. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient with my needs during the process. Years later, she keeps in touch and offers assistance. Thank you Janet!
