Taste of Morocco

The couscous was bland but the chicken tagine was ok. Service was slow - not sure if that happens every night or not. The second time we went was better on all fronts.

Food gets better and better by the minute. My wife keeps going after the spicy harissa. The service is quite a family style operation, cosy, good music. Moroccan beer is awesome.

Caveat: we went here on one of the last days of the recent Groupon deal, and they had a full house. The food was acceptable but not spectacular. Frankly, I can cook better for myself. They were out of the salmon tagine and they were out of Moroccan coffee. Service was poor - we had to wait approximately an hour for our food, and they mixed our bill up with someone else's. Even if service were normal, the food is frankly nothing that special, so I wouldn't recommend it. Additionally, the details below are incorrect, they are not open for lunch.

Should have trusted the other reviews and not gotten the platter. I had the Atlas (vegetarian) The soup was good and the bastilla was tasty and unique. But then came the tagine and the couscous dish. The tagine consisted of cooked vegetables. No spice, nothing. The couscous dish was the exact same thing, just with couscous. I would not go back to this place, but if i found myself there again I would just order the soup and bastilla a la carte. By the way, unlike other reviews, I found the service just fine.
