My mother and I have been to this location once and received excellent service. However, the service wasnt so great when we visited again this past Saturday. My mother sat down for her pedicure with Technician Michelle, who immediately began talking on the phone. Whenever my mom tried to get Michelle's attention to ask a question, she seemed annoyed that she would dare interrupt her telephone conversation. Shortly after, Technician Lani invited me to sit down for my pedicure. This was my second time receiving a pedicure from Lani, who was gracious and attentive. Lani handed me the menu of choices for my pedicure when my mom said, I didnt receive one of those. Can I see yours? I handed it to her, and she decided she wanted one of the spa pedicures, to which Michelle replied: Im done now. The only thing Michelle had done up to this point was to soak my moms feet and clip her toenails. Lani tried to mediate, but Michelle replied, Im done now. I already finished. Your online appointment said regular pedicure. I have another customer. We didnt make an online appointment; I called, so that wasnt true. My mom had a manicure scheduled as well, which she promptly canceled. Michelle then sent my mom to sit in a corner while Lani finished my pedicure. Michelle then went to the computer while my mom waited for me to finish. As a 72-year-old senior, she was offended and insulted by Michelles rudeness. She was cautious while giving the pedicure, but the rudeness, especially holding a telephone conversation the entire time, was highly unprofessional. If you go here, stay far away from Michelle, or better yet, go somewhere else, as I assume Michelle is a manager or related to the owner. If not, shame on them for subjecting customers to her nasty attitude. By the way, the mystery customer never showed up. We can only assume she wanted to get back to her telephone conversation ASAP. If there was a 0 star rating, I would definitely give them that. This is the worst place and service. I went there to fix my nail and one of the girls told me that they cant fix it because the girl who first did my nails is off and the others they dont know how to do the acrylic !!! When I told her to do gel its fine she said no we cant do that and you can go to fix it in another nail bar : there is a nail bar in the mall near where you can go do your nails

I usually like this place when my regular manicurist Lianne is there. But, today I went to someone new and it was AWFUL! The most basic and lazy manicure ever. Didnt even have a buffer for my nails to smooth them out! Didnt even try to figure it out! Only wanted to charge $8 for some basic shine sponge. Go somewhere else for better service!

I really enjoy my visits to Modern Nail Bar. The staff is very friendly and welcoming while the nail work is on point. My nails last a lot longer when I get my Gel manicure here instead of at other nail salons. They have voluntarily offered to do some nail art as part of my most recent gel manicure and the result was great! (See attached picture) - I will certainly do that more often. Make sure to ask for their Spa Pedicure, it is super relaxing and they have multiple styles and fragrance options...the margarita one is my favorite. If you plan to visit Modern Nail Bar make sure to call to make an appointment though as it can get very busy and service is not guaranteed without the reservation. Highly recommend to try it out!!
