HealthMarkets Insurance - Melinda Attaway

I cannot recommend Health Market agency enough. I had been using insurance that stem from COBRA and it was getting way to expensive. They were able to find me a policy that fit my needs and my wallet.

I don't usually leave reviews but I was super disappointed with Melinda. I found health markets through google searches and reviews. I always dealt with finding my own health insurance and last year was a nightmare so I thought using a broker would help. Although she was knowledgeable and explained the different health plans. She still lead me to a health plan that was not for me, after describing what I wasn't looking for. I am not the best at understanding all the health insurance lingo that's why I thought using someone to find it for me would be better. I felt like all she cared about is what she got out of it. I would say 10 times throughout our phone conversation she kept pushing life insurance on me when I told her I was not interested and couldn't afford that, and then proceeded to keep telling me about it when I made it clear I won't be getting that this time. I tried reaching out to her 3 times via email, which she said she responds to, never got a response. Now I am stuck with crappy insurance. I am taking it as a learning experience for myself but will never use her or the company again.
