Newborg Drainage & Landscaping

Did exactly what the contract called for. Worker's did a great job and were very nice. Very satisfied, highly recommend.

We interviewed five companies. We went with Newborg after receiving far and wide estimates.  Love the company and would hire again. But their work will prevent any future flooding based on their recommendation and drainage solution. Fair, clean, fast. Dennis in Alexandria VA.

We had significant standing water under our house. Several companies came out and quoted 10-20k fixes. Newborg came out and ten minutes later the issue was fixed. We had a French drain we didn't know about that was clogged. One shovel in the right place and problem solved! This is an honest company that provides a great service!

Inquired about removing bamboo and appurtenances/ Received e mail thatd that they do not do bamboo work. Once I had others remove bamboo,  I contacted Newborg again via e mail  with several options of work. a) retaining wall b) drainage system c) fill with gravel. Reading his bio which was impressive, i stated, that I was also a local Arlingtonian. I guess he was not impressed. Did not receive a reply. Thinking perhaps my email "fell through the cracks" I inquired again. No response. Not begging ANYONE TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY. As always the economy and real estate does turn. So will the landscaping business. Then, they will have to compete in price with the local day laborers.The only thing i can think of for not responding , notwithstanding the fact that some contractors do not have the manners to call back,, and have noticed with other contractors is that  if you indicate specifics of work or show idea that you know what you want , they will not bother to call or bid. Which leads me to believe they want a free hand to propose whatever they want. (this hypothesis is confirmed when a realtor friend told me , if a  potential client asks too many questions he does not want want them as clients. hmm!)
