The Sur Apartments

Where to start? The staff is rude and immature, they dont want to do their jobs. The building constantly smells of weed throughout the day. There is no air or heat in the hallways or common areas. The doors to the building are broken and are a safety hazard. The water pressure in the units is very low. The garage door is constantly broken and open, allowing anything from strangers to animals to enter and steal. Did I mention the immature and unprofessional staff? Management is unresponsive when you contact them about safety concerns!

Management really needs to get the smoking problem under control. Common areas smell of marijuana nearly 24/7 and the smell is also present in our unit multiple times a week. We've been reporting this to management for nearly 6 months now with no resolution.

The marijuana scent in the building has become unbearable. It is frequently extends from the hallways into the elevators, lobby, and parking garage. I have heard that multiple floors are having the same issue. The smell is frequently strong enough in our unit that we have to open all of windows (even in heat, humidity, and cold) to get some relief. We have been in contact with management since April about this issue with no resolution - we have sent emails as well as gone down to speak with them in person as the smoking was occurring. If you are concerned about second-hand smoke affecting your health I do not recommend living in The Sur until they are able to control this issue.

Want to start by saying I don't live here, but I visited my girlfriend and I must say that this is one of the nicest apartments I've ever seen.
