We investigated the issues and noticed that we addressed all your matters at the time you dined in at our restaurant, by either exchanging the food and/or returning your money in full.Furthermore, we want to clarify the experience you had yesterday afternoon. Around 2:20 pm, you had walked in to order a take-out Veggie Combo platter with only a few items from the combination list. As you requested, the waiter brought out your food open to ensure your requested items are all included in the order. You looked and agreed to the order (as shown on your posted picture). The Waitress then closed the take-out foil, placed it in a plastic bag and you were out within 15 minutes with no issues.Approximately 30 minutes later, you called and complained about a missed request – An Ethiopian injera. At the time of your order, you did not request an Ethiopian injera. Note, Ethiopian injera is a special request and comes with an additional charge as listed on our menu. You asked to speak with the Manager, the Manager heard your concerns and offered to personally deliver the Ethiopian injera to you at no cost, after you had mentioned that you live one minute away from the restaurant. However, the address you sent was your work address and it was 25 minutes away from the restaurant with traffic. He called you back and explained calmly that he was not able to drive 25 minutes out, as he must be at the restaurant to fulfill his duties. Then you made threats by saying you will post “bad reviews about the restaurant including pictures and other past experiences” to damage the restaurant’s reputation.In conclusion, we’re truly sorry that you felt an online platform was your final way of voicing your experiences. As you can see from other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our food and services. We can’t change your experience, but we will continue to improve and find ways to avoid confusion and miscommunication between our team and customers. - Restaurant Owner
