        I have been with Burtel Security for my shop's security needs for a few years now and can not be more happy. I have had uninterrupted service with exceptional customer service. From installation to the call center and everything in between, know that you are in good, competent hands. David, Ron and the entire staff are highly professional who've been in the business for a long time and I recommend them every chance that I get!

        To be fair, the monitoring was OK - not excellent, but reasonably rapid. Tech support was great. Just great.The rating is because I sold my house in 2017 and learned I had to buy out the year+ remainder of my monitoring contract. Griped me enormously that there was no other early termination clause, but after all, I did sign the contract. So I paid it and cancelled my service by letter, as required. I just got a bill from the monitoring service for 2019/2020. Seriously?Checked with Burtel, and they can't find the cancellation letter I sent with payment. They said the letter would have gone to, and that my contract was owned by American Home Security/American Monitoring Service. So I may have another fight on my hands.Michelle at Burtel was as helpful as she could be, and so we'll see.Whatever the case, I can't recommend them more than I did.
