VHC Health - Primary Care Alexandria

I am giving a ONE star for the current address and location, ability to get live person on the phone quickly and reception from staff at the front desk...As another reviewer stated-the directions via Google Maps and Waze take you about a mile away from the office to the old building--this is a newer building and it doesn't register with GPS even when using the exact address-I drove in circles and was trying to get someone live on the phone-that took 10 plus minutes alone...I ended up asking a police officer for help.... When I finally parked in a garage, sprinted through the garage, found the 'right' elevator--I was late by about 20-30 minutes-I was quickly dismissed and the receptionist asked to see my phone and directions-she was a bit rude about it--and was like don't use Waze-oh ok, and Google too??? That's a great solution...Maybe when scheduling appointments at this location say don't follow Waze/Google and give other location points...I loved the Dr. I interacted with via an emergency after-hours call, but can't speak to her in person after being turned away today. I understand that they couldn't see me..but the whole thing could have been easily avoided by simple instructions when I booked the appt "we are in a newer location-it isn't being picked-up by GPS-we are at the intersection of King and Beauregard by the Silver Diner and Harris Teater". VHC is getting so big the personal approach just isn't there--It was an annoying and frustrating day and I ended up having to go to an urgent care.

THIS LOCATION ON GOOGLE MAPS IS WRONG. It brings you to a building 1600 N Beauregard. THIS IS THE WRONG BUILDING. So, I arrived early, but to the wrong address. I was wandering around the wrong building for 10 minutes trying to find it. By the time I realized, found the right 3475 N Beauregard St, and drove over there, I was 8 minutes late. They refused to see me. I was sick as a dog, and they didn't care in the slightest. Meanwhile, if the doctor was running late, you'd sit there waiting for 45 minutes. I will never use VHC Primary Care ever again. This was disgraceful.

Rude customer service, to the point that I could not make an appointment. the phone call did not go past taking my last name since they laughed at me the whole time. it seems the person on the phone was laughing at me with someone next to them.

WHY don't they ever answer their phones and also there is no way to send message via portal. it says no one available to receive the message...what's going on with this practice??

I'd give 10 stars if I could.   Been going to Dr "c" for years.  Brought my parents to him.  All the staff are wonderful.  If I have need for a same day appointment they check the other nearby offices.  Shirlington office was just as efficient.  The doctors and nurses at VHC take their time with each patient to thoroughly review, not rushing you out.
