Comfort Inn Alexandria West - Landmark

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Sharara at the front desk is the sweetest and so helpful. We had a great stay overall

My husband wrote this review for the staff as well. I would like to say thank you to staff at the Fairfield on Duke St.Our stay was a pleasant surprise. From the ihop breakfast to the comfortable beds. The biggest surprise was the staff. There interactions with my wife an I. Especially there interactions with our children . They were fantastic. From asking them how there trip was going to telling fun things to look for. A big help was the night staff at the front deck. Especially Shahara C. She helped in my ignorance of metro train line. With her help I was able to navigate successfully give my daughter one of her favorite experiences of the trip. Thank you again to your staff.

Close to Airport, kinda strange place with an IHOP below it. My room smelled like pancakes and syrup all night

There are 3 ladies at the front desk that are the most pleasant. They make you feel welcome and at home. Ms. Shara Carter, Ava, and the Manger Ms. Bessie. The best customer service oriented people I've met. They are helpful with whatever you need and don't mind stepping from behind the front desk to help you. Marriott hired the best in these 3 personnel. Rooms: The rooms were cleaned and vacuumed daily! Nearby activities: Straight down from the hotel on Duke Street, you run into Old Town Alexandria. There are shops, eating restaurants on the water, boats to take you across to the harbor, and very nice to enjoy any day. Walkability: Directly across the street from the hotel is a Giant food, Hobby Looby, L/A Fitness, Auto Zone, Furniture shop, KFC, A Thai restaurant and a host of other little shops Food & drinks: Your choice of food is right next door so to speak. You don't have to walk far or drive far.
