AVA Dance Company

I absolutely love AVA Dance Company and their community! AVA Dance Company has provided me with numerous opportunities that I never thought that I would be able to have while simultaneously pursuing my professional career. I am incredibly grateful for the kind heartedness and acceptance from everyone I have met in the AVA dance community. Class attendees range from no prior experience to various levels of experience and all are welcomed and encouraged to attend classes. Each class is such a wonderful opportunity for escape and expression (and SO much fun!). I am so moved by the end of each class and it is, without a doubt, the highlight of every week! Check it out- you won't regret it!

I took my first Ava Dance class at local Motion in Alexandria. They offer a few different locations based on the days and what dance type youre looking for. Although, I can agree with Sarah that it can be a little difficult to 100% follow along if you do not have a background in dance, I really enjoyed that it was a judge free, very encouraging zone. I am not looking to become a professional dancer at 36 years old, I was looking for a fun choreography that helps me move my body and makes me more flexible and agile. I look forward to going back !

Loved hip hop with Chrissy!  I don't have too much dance experience and was a bit nervous going into the class, but Chrissy was great about walking through the steps and building a positive environment.  Class was a GREAT workout and was, above all, so much FUN! I will definitely be back!
