I must agree with the reviews about charges. prices are whatever they want to whoever they want any time they want. every time its higher and different. very embarrassing for them to do that....

I like my hairstylist. She did a great job! I would recommend her. However, the front desk charged me more than what was expected. At first she told me for wash and blow dry is $50.00. I felt that was reasonable for the Salon and the Area. However, when I arrived there, I told her I don't need wash and blow dry, I only need to redefine my curls. For "only" redefining my curls (no wash and no blow dry) she charged me $90.00 for one hour. I had bought gift cards for my friends and they ended up paying more than what they should have. It was ridiculous how we got ripped off for just getting our hair styled for one day. I would not recommend the salon unless you are okay with whatever amount they want you to pay.

Its wAs my second time in Toka. Never again!!! As other reviews mentioned they trying to charge you more even you ve been told exact price. I called in advanced for sinfle process color with no blow dry and they said $95 and i asked again, its gonna be $95 thats it? Lady said yes. So stylist did single color for me, nothing special, as soon as i said im gonna dry my hair on my own, they changed their attitudes and everybody left do their staff. When i finished they said it will be more money because stylist did double color. I got so pissed and said i didnt ask about it, nobody told me. The lady started explain that Toka single peocess color means only roots, whaaat?! I paid my $95 and left tips, which regret now. I even dont know if than front desk lady gave tips to my stylist or took it for herself! Stylist never came out to say bye or check on finall result. Nasty! And i was the only customers. This salon should be shut down or hire real professionals not nasty people looking for free money!!!!!
