Solace B&B

We really enjoyed our stay with Carol at Soltice B&B. She is a wonderful person, quite the hostess and made our stay at her beautiful home very special. We loved everything about our stay, the beautiful room, a super comfortable bed, the hot tub overlooking the mountains, cocktail hour by the fire and a beyond incredible breakfast. We hope to be able to return soon to this truly special place.

Carol and Gary are literally the platonic ideal of B&B hosts. The house was clean and spacious, the room great, the hot tub enjoyable but it's really the hosts which made the whole experience outstanding. Also, it's pretty close to Sugarbush so actually getting to the slopes was pretty straightforward. If you go soon after a snowstorm, you'll probably need a 4WD in that whole area. I rented a serious SUV and was very happy I had it. However, soon after the storm ended, the roads got plowed pretty well so if you're not expecting serious snow during your stay, a 2wd will probably be fine.

We had a great time here. Very close to Sugarbush. The owner drew us hiking maps and a list of breweries and open times. So many above and beyond moments. Nice hot tub, comfy beds, delicious breakfast. Will be back again for sure.

We were in Vermont for a wedding and stayed at Solace B&B. It was wonderful. The owners could not be nicer or more accommodating. We loved the location, the homemade breakfasts, our comfortable and pretty room, and the deck with beautiful views of the mountains, a big lawn and a pond. We would definitely go back and stay longer the next time.

The hospitality was wonderful. The owners helped us with things to do and places to eat. They even called for reservations for us. The breakfasts were top notch and the surroundings were beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We highly recommend Solace and will stay there again on our next trip.
