Daria Bishop Photography

Daria was our photographer on our wedding day and we also had her do our engagement photos. She was incredibly creative when it came to ideas for our engagement session and on our wedding day. She was absolutely amazing when it came to being patient with family members and little obstacles that got thrown our way on our special day. I was so pleased with her work, professionalism and kindness throughout both events. She is wonderful at what she does!!

I was lucky enough to have Daria photograph my wedding and I highly recommend her. She is friendly, sincere, and has a great way with people - and that ability to put people at ease led to some wonderful photographs of our special day. I have beautiful images of the venue, of the ceremony, of my loved ones - all captured in the moment as Daria worked her magic in the background. I had a sense she was the right choice from our first phone call - and after the engagement session i scheduled before the wedding, there was no doubt!

My daughter convinced me to get wedding photos when I resisted, not wanting my husband, family, and friends immortalized in the sort of cheesy, posed shots I have come to associate with wedding photography. Thank God I listened to her and found Daria Bishop, who captured the pure joy, beauty, and goofiness of my wedding with shots that suggest she knows my friends and family -- and perhaps even my relationship with my husband!-- better than I do! I think Daria's work is so glorious because (apart from her unparalleld technical skill) she PAYS ATTENTION. She believed me when I told her that I wanted natural shots and did not insist on posing us. Still, because she observed the group so intensely, she knew exactly when to whisper "Hey, look this way!" or "You three-- hold your drinks and look at the camera!" Good God, Daria: thank you! And I do not look like Pete Townshend (my twin brother in a former life) in a single photo! I will cherish these images-- of all of my friends and family-- always.

Daria did photos for a gathering of my extended family. The all the photos came out great, of the the whole clan and then for each family group. She was super easy and fun to work with. I'd hire her again in a heart beat.

Daria was the photographer for our wedding, and was an absolutely perfect match for us! Daria's experience as a photographer means that she captures timeless images for you of the moments in your wedding that are the most meaningful, beautiful, or unexpected. Beyond her professional skill, Daria is an enthusiastic, kind, and easygoing person to work with. We were not excited about doing an engagement photoshoot because it seemed really corny, but Daria made it such a great time, took pictures that suited our personalities, and I'm so glad we have those images! I would highly recommend Daria for your wedding photographer, she is professional, really talented, and genuinely awesome!
