Mulligan's in downtown Barre offers great food and drink at affordable prices. They can accommodate a large number of patrons with their varying seating and double bar, inducing two levels of spacious outdoor dining during warmer seasons. Lunch and dinner are offered every day of the week and they stay open later than other places in both Barre and Montpelier. Many screens hang throughout the restaurant displaying live sports and each booth has it's own remote-controlled cable television. I don't pay much attention to the games but the music selection played throughout the establishment is fantastic (classic to modern rock-and-roll hits). A wide-ranging menu is provided with fast-paced service by their attentive and courteous staff. I consider myself a fairly regular customer, either dining-in or picking up takeout (the Vermont Burger is my personal favorite) and I very much appreciate their broad selection of beer on-tap. On the evening of the 2024 total-eclipse they were extremely busy - the entire crew were amazing and Mackenzie ran the packed bar - she was awesome and attentive, as always!

Mackenzie and Courtney and the other girls here are great very friendly and have wonderful service.the drinks are good and the burgers are fantastic. People who haven't been really should try it I promise you you won't regret it.
