    We had a great experience working with Croft Fireplace. They were very helpful and honest about the differences between models and even helped us find a solution that made our existing mantle work. Fast and professional install. A+, would definitely use them again!

    Update: Croft sent out new tech. Neil was efficient, well mannered and understanding while also helping me to understand. Left me feeling better about my experience and getting problems resolved. Original: Wasnt impressed by their salesman. Hard to get any sort of responses from him without showing up at shop; even to get original quote. Each part of the unit is a separate amount.. ie.. glass rocks, metal surround, ect so essentially all the other parts beside the motor. Salesman Skyler told us hooking up electric will be around 150$; but when installers arrive we are informed its never less then 300$.The installer was honest and upfront but wasnt comforted when he had to call the service supervisor who I could hear over the phone say just make it work . Well it didnt work; (as you can see from picture) Calling the next day salesman Skyler said he wasnt sure about getting any one back soon, finally after a month of descriptions and emails of problem to salesman, we receive a phone call from a tech Bowen; who leaves a message stating he will be stopping by the next afternoon with no return number if that time isnt going to work. Very frustrating. When tech finally comes he is unhelpful and informs us thats just how the model is cords show. He offers to spray black spray paint days later now the motor is making loud sounds; probably due to the spray paint and no one from Croft is responding.

    I purchased a gas insert to replace the older model that came in my home, and while it is a beautiful fire place it has never consistently worked. To their credit, Croft has sent out several repairmen to try and diagnose the issue, but no one has ever been able to actually resolve it. Now I have a beautiful, non-functioning gas fireplace that I wasted several hundred dollars on in my basement.
