Ruined our family day picture! My wife spent a lot of time putting our clothes preparations I took the day off from work. And on the day of the photo shoot he said he had to reschedule. Horrible experience.

Purchased a groupon for SBP. Mike Olsen took our picture, he tried very hard to make the babies smile and not cry. But that was basically the extent of his efforts. Anything else we wanted (try different poses, backgrounds, etc) he would not accomodate...that is unless we wanted to pay extra!! Had I known that our hour session was so limited to one type of styling then I would not have bought the groupon. He was very tempermental and kept making sly condescending remarks!!

Wow. Working with Scott Breen Photography has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I would HIGHLY recommend using a different photographer. It is not worth the deal they are willing to give you. If you'd like to skip my novel, here is why I don't recommend using him: 1 - Communication is horrible (Responsive to phone, but won't call you back and they are totally unresponsive to email) 2- Lacks organization (He bailed on two different "on-location" photo shoots because he had forgot to put them on his calendar) 3-Unprofessional (He would not take initiative on anything and I had to reach out to him to arrange shoots multiple times, remind him of shoots, etc. He also changed his number so that I could no longer call him.) I recently bought a groupon approximately two months ago for a deal that they were having on a family portrait. I arranged my photo shoot for late September in downtown Salt Lake City while it was still warm and light enough outside. The photographer recommended the location and seemed very friendly and positive on the phone while arranging the shoot. After my wife and I had arranged our work schedules to make it to the shoot on time, our photographer never showed up. When I called to see where he was he said that he thought he had checked his calendar and didn't see anything for that night. He was at Squaw Peak, while we were in downtown SLC...totally unprofessional! He said he would make it up to me and give us extra prints. He asked me to call him the next day to arrange it. I called the next day and he apologized and said that would "make it right" at our rescheduled shoot. We rescheduled for about a week and half later. At our second shoot, he also did not show up. After calling his phone number I received a message that this phone number was no longer accepting phone calls. I called multiple other times and had no luck getting a hold of him. Approximately 15 minutes later I received a phone call from a different photographer from a different studio who had stated that he was in contact with our original photographer who said he could not make it. The new photographer was willing to help us out, but would not do an "on-location" shoot and asked us to come to his studio in South Salt Lake. However, the new photographer would not give us the same groupon deal that our original photographer would give us, because it was not fair to him. We decided that we would at least drive by the studio and it didn't look legit and the fact that our photographer would not even call us to tell us this, made it seem really sketchy. We left with an absolute disgusting taste in our mouths for Scott Breen Photography for their horrific customer service, embarrassing unprofessionalism, and serious lack of basic organizational and communication skills. DO NOT USE THEM!

Wish there was a negative star rating available! WARNING! Do NOT purchase the GROUPON for Scott Breen Photography! My husband bought one as an anniversary gift so that we could get family pictures taken for our small family of 3. We were scheduled for Thurs. 9/28/17. We got all dressed up and ready (which is no easy task, especially when it includes our 22 month old), it was a crazy day at both of our jobs, but we made it work, my husband had to leave early to get there on time, etc. We show up to where they told us to meet in Downtown Salt Lake. We wait for about 10 minutes before my husband calls him to see if we're in the wrong place or what, and he says that he had forgotten. Claims he "checked his calendar" and didn't think he had anything, so he was not even close or willing to come meet us!...so...he tells us to call back the next day to reschedule when he has his calendar in front of him. Needless to say, I was TICKED! My husband calls the next day, and he did apologize, saying that he'd give us extra free prints on top of what the Groupon was for to make it up to us. We reschedule for today, Monday 10/9. My husband called this morning to double check that he was still planning on it ('cause we didn't want to go through that nightmare again!) and he said, "yep! Planning on it. See you tonight!" So, again, we all get dressed and ready, show up, and again, he's a NO SHOW! Seriously?! So we give him 10 minutes before my husband calls. He called the same number he has been talking to all these times (including today to verify!) and this time, he gets some weird recording saying that it's not a Valid number. What??! He tries calling again. Same weird message! We are putting our 22 month old back in the car (because of course today it's cold and windy...even though the FIRST day scheduled was beautiful picture weather!) and all of a sudden, my husband gets a call from some random guy telling him that he'd just gotten his number from "Joe" about a shoot tonight and wants to know what's going on. We explain the situation and how mad we are that this has happened not once, but TWICE and he tells us that he can have us come down to his studio to get our pictures taken and gives us some random address in South Salt Lake. Something is sketchy here! How / why is the number all of a sudden invalid, and how / why did he give our number to some other random person?! We did drive past the address just to see what the heck is going on, but declined his "offer" for the impromptu studio shoot and are now in the process of having to fight with GROUPON about getting our money back. Last time we try to use a photographer we don't know! If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is! Do NOT try scheduling with this photographer! Not worth your wasted time and money! Not only are we out the Groupon, gas, time, etc., but also paid twice to park in downtown SLC just to turn around and drive home. Absolutely ridiculous!
